Erica Qin has been playing instruments for over 10 years. She started with piano when she was five before switching to viola when she was eight. An active participant in her community, she is a member of her school orchestra, the Howard County Youth Orchestra, and the 2019 Maryland All-State Junior Orchestra. She also participated in Peabody’s Chamber Music program. In her free time, she volunteers with UNMUTE Student Musicians, bringing concerts to senior homes around Maryland.
