Ethan Yan, 14 years old, started learning piano when he was 6. He was a student at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Precollege Program and now at Groton School. He has performed solo piano at Carnegie Hall. He also plays double bass and saxophone. He is a member of the Groton School Orchestra.
