Eunah Kim (13 y.o) is currently studying flute with Dr. Mary Karen Clardy (University of North Texas) and Jeffrey Khaner (Curtis Institute of Music). Year 2020 she won Grand Prize between both seniors and juniors at 2020 Collin County Young Artist Competition and will be performing as a soloist with Plano Symphony Orchestra on Oct 27th. She also received 3rd place among college students at the 2020 YOUNG ARTIST COMPETITION of Linda Chesis Virtual Flute Retreat where there was no age limit. She also received 1st prize at 2020 International Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso and was invited to perform at Wiener Saal, Mozarteum. Year 2017 when she was 10 year old, she was accepted into the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra (GDYO) Year 2019, she moved up to GDYO top orchestra. She has received the Texas Flute Festival Solo and Ensemble Outstanding Performer Award for two consecutive years (2015 and 2016), and first place in the Sonata and Concerto division for the Dallas Symphonic festival (2015-2016). When she was 8 years old, she placed first at the 2016 Collin County Young Artist Concerto Competition Junior division. She won Grand prize at the Concert Artists International Virtuoso 2017 Competition II and performed at Weill Hall of Carnegie Hall. In 2018, she was ranked first in the 2018 Region 24 All Region Middle School Band. Year 2019, she was second place at Ensemble75 concerto competition, as the result of competing with violinists, cellists, pianists and woodwind players altogether and performed with Cezanne Quartet. She has had masterclasses with Jeffrey Khaner, James Walker, Karl Heinz Schütz, Julien Beaudiment, Marina Piccinini, Jasmine Choi, Brad Garner and Raffaele Trevisani.
