Eunki Chang, a 5th-grade student, began learning the violin at age five under the tutelage of her mother and violin teacher, Faith Han.
Eunki is a dedicated and talented musician.
She has won accolades in two international music competitions. She earned the Second Place Certificate at the Vivo International Music Competition and received a Certificate of Recognition from the American Youth Musician Union.
Eunki’s early distinction among her peers was marked by her participation in the MCSMA Solo Festival, where she achieved an outstanding score and was subsequently selected to join the Monroe County School Music Association (MCSMA) Orchestra.
While in fourth grade at Vollmer Elementary School, Eunki joined the school orchestra and rapidly ascended to the role of concertmaster, a position she proudly maintains.
In January 2023, the Rush Henrietta Central School District recognized Eunki as “Musician of the Month.” Additionally, at the Rush Henrietta Music Recognition Ceremony, organized by the Board of Education, she was honored with a Certificate of Recognition as a special invitee.
Beyond her achievements in music, Eunki is a passionate violinist who actively contributes to her school, local churches, and the broader community.
Apart from her musical endeavors, Eunki is a vibrant and active youngster. She enjoys swimming, skiing, and cherishes family road trips.
