Evan MacLean

Evan MacLean is a musician aspiring to become a professional violinist with a personal goal of joining and performing with a symphony orchestra. He is a grade 10 student at Walkerville Collegiate Institute and a part of the Walkerville Centre for the Creative Arts (WCCA) String program. He has competed in the Kiwanis Music Festival Windsor-Essex County annually, being named Most Promising Junior String Player and Top Senior String player with two recommendations for provincial competition. Having won the Windsor Symphony Youth Orchestra’s (WSYO) Guild Competition, which allowed him to solo with the orchestra at the renowned Capitol Theatre in Windsor, Ontario. Currently Evan is a section violinist with the Detroit Symphony Youth Orchestra and is excited for future opportunities.
