Evan Wu, from the San Francisco Bay Area California, is a Junior at Albany High School. He began taking piano classes at the age of 12. He only started to compete recently and won a few honors, including American Protégé which led to a performance at the Carnegie Hall. In addition to playing the piano, Evan also plays the percussion and keyboard for the Young People’s Symphonic Orchestra of California. Evan likes to compose and explore many different music genres. Evan also excels at academics and loves to learn Math and French.
