Evelyn’s musical journey began at the age of 5 when she joined Colburn Children Choir directed by Dr. Misha Shtangrud. Evelyn(15) will be a sophomore at Diamond Bar High School during the 2024-2025 school year. With an insatiable passion for the arts, she delved into music theory, piano, drama, and dance. Her performances include taking the role of the female lead in productions such as “The Little Mermaid Jr.” and “Alibaba and the Bongo Bandits”. This year, she has taken part of Colburn Concert Choir, SCVA Jr. Honor Choir, and Diamond Bar High School Chamber Choir. She is currently taking vocal training with Jessie Oliver at Colburn School. Evelyn’s passion extend beyond the realm of music, as she is also a dedicated cross country runner and visual artist. In her downtime, Evelyn can often be found indulging in her other great loves: books and food.
