Evelyn Yao is ten years old and lives in San Ramon, California. She started to play piano when she is 8 years old. She was awarded three 2nd places and one fourth place in the US Open Music Competition, 2nd place in the American Protégé International Piano Competition, 5th place in young talent student music contest. As a result, Evelyn has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York. Evelyn hopes she can spread her joy for music to more people and has been doing so by performing and competing in many different places.
