Fangze Chen

Fangze Chen is 15 years old and attends Stanton College Preparatory High School as a sophomore. She started playing piano at age 6 and has been studying with Kamila Shahtakhtinski, NCTM for the past 2 years. For the past 4 consecutive years, Fangze has participated in the NFMC Festivals and earned NFMC Gold Cup in Piano Solo. She also has participated in FFMC State Junior conventions, FSMTA Concerto competitions, studio, community and JMTA recitals on a regular basis. She has been awarded 2nd place in the Charleston International Music competition and received 3rd place in the Florida Keys International Music Competition. Outside of piano, Fangze’s hobbies include tennis, ping pong and painting.
