
Felix Wang started taking violin lessons when he was four and became a member of Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra (BYSO) two years after. He has been the concertmaster of BYSO these past few years and led the Rimsky-Korsakov Scheherazade. Felix also played the concertmaster for SEMMEA and SEMSBA junior district festival orchestras. Felix was the 1st place winner of the Bay State String Competition, the VIVO International Music Competition, Canadian International Music Competition, North American Virtuoso International Music Competition and the American Protégé International Piano & String Competition (Judges’ Distinction Award), to name a few. Felix was also the Grand Prix winner of the Concert Festival Orchestra International Concerto Competition and winner of the BYSO-REP Concerto Competition. Felix was invited to perform at the Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Musikverein in Vienna, and Beethoven’s House in Bonn, Germany. Felix also enjoys time with friends on the Militia Hockey Club team and his high school varsity hockey team.
