Francesca Harper is a Junior at William Mason High School in Mason, Ohio.
Francesca has been studying piano since 2013. She has been studying under Dr. Yuking Chou Brandenburgh since 2019.
Francesca awards and recognitions include:
-Receiving 5 stars at the Queen City Music Festival Evaluations
-Earning 2 gold and 1 silver medals at the MTA Audition Festivals
-Awarded 3rd place at the 2023 Julia Bartles Concerto Competition
-Winning 1st place and Best Cadenza at the 2023 Tri-State Piano Concerto Competition
-Earned 2nd place in her age group at the 2023 Great Composers Competition
Series’ Best Liszt Performance global online competition
In addition to piano, Francesca enjoys playing the flute in her school’s Wind Symphony and at the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestras. She has been selected to OMEA District 13 Honor Band three years in a row. This year, she was accepted to The Ohio State University High School Honor Band.
Francesca studies music theory, having passed the RCM Level 9 Harmony and Music History exams. She also occasionally enjoys writing her own music.
