Gabriel Huang

Gabriel Huang is currently 15 years old and is studying at Tower Hill High School. He began his violin studies at age 6 at the Music School of Delaware with Julie Ruiz. He currently studies with Vladimir Dyo in the music preparatory division of Temple University. Gabriel has won many awards in competitions such as the MTNA Eastern Division Competition, MTNA Delaware Competition, American Protege, Betsy L Kent Youth Competition, and Delaware Concerto Competition for Young Musicians. He has also performed in major concert venues likes Carnegie Hall. Since his orchestral debut at age 10, he has been invited to perform with the Newark Symphony Orchestra, Wilmington Community Orchestra, Tower Hill Chamber Orchestra, and Gloria Youth Orchestra. Since 7th grade, he has also participated in Delaware All-State Orchestra and has served as principal second violin. Currently, he also serves as concertmaster of the Tower Hill School Youth Orchestra. He also serves as the New Castle County regional director of the Back to Bach project and participates in the DoReMi volunteer project.
