Gabriel Acosta, who is now 5 years old, has been taking formal piano lessons since February 2022 with Professor Elena Fomicheva at the Superior Academy of Music located in Miami, Florida. Most recently, Gabriel won third prize at his very first international piano competition in the Elaine and Andrew Daniluk FYAIPC (Florida Young Artist International Piano Competition) and will also be participating in many more piano competitions this year. During his free time, he enjoys listening to music from the greatest classical composers such as Brahms, Grieg, Chopin, Schumann, Paganini, Beethoven, Mozart, Handel, Bach, and Vivaldi. He also enjoys reading, composing music, traveling, and playing outside in the playground. His favorite color is orange, and he likes whales, foxes, and pigeons as some of his favorite animals. When Gabriel grows up, he would like to become a concert pianist, an engineer, and a scientist.
