
Gabriella Montero is twelve years old and in sixth grade at Lower Macungie Middle School in Emmaus, PA. She began voice lessons at the age of eight with her beloved teacher, Ellie Escher, and also loves acting and dancing. She began singing Italian opera when she was ten years old and was awarded second place in the Charleston International Music Competition for her performance of Puccini’s “O Mio Babino Caro” in 2022. She was the recipient of the first place award in the National Association of Teachers of Singing in the Musical Theater Division in 2023 and in the Classical Division in 2023 and 2024. Gabriella opened for The Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall singing in a select youth choir and sang the National Anthem for the Harlem Globetrotters at Madison Square Garden. She will perform the National Anthem for the PA Farm Show in Harrisburg for their opening ceremonies in January 2025. Since her acting debut in the summer of 2020, Gabriella has appeared in over a dozen shows including “Frozen” (Elsa), “The Wizard of Oz” (Dorothy) and “A Christmas Cinderella” (Cinderella). Last year, Gabriella was cast in her first movie, “A Familiar Face”, that has won numerous awards in film festivals around the country. Gabriella also freelances as a special events soloist at weddings and sporting events.
