Gloria Xiang

Gloria Xiang, 16, is a junior from Cary, North Carolina. She has studied piano since the age of 6, and started studying piano with her current teacher, Olga Urick, at the age of 10. She has received top prizes in NCMTA auditions multiple times, as well as receiving Young Artist Audtions top prizes. Most recently in 2022 , she has received the excellence award in the RPTA Scholarship Competition, first prize in Elite International Music Competition, and has also received first prize in the 2022 European Music Competition. She is involved with her school’s seranader’s club, performing at various local locations with her chamber music group on a monthly basis.
