Grace Priest

Grace Priest

Grace Priest is a highly talented and passionate violinist who’s developed a love for music even before her musical pursuit. Driven by ambition, hard work, and discipline, her playing progressed rapidly, surpassing many who have studied much longer than her.

As of 2024, Grace has been playing the violin for nearly 6 years. She first began in 2017 as a 7th grade student in the beginner 6th grade orchestra. Within her first year, she had advanced to the 8th grade orchestra as the associate concertmaster.

From there, Grace has participated in numerous advanced youth orchestras, all-state festivals, and music competitions. Recently, she placed first in the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition Spring 2023, where she then made her debut at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall as a soloist.

Grace is currently a student of the renowned violinist, Alejandro Mendoza, and studies with unwavering dedication and a relentless pursuit for excellence. She plans on pursuing violin performance in college and aspires to play as a recitalist and orchestra member.

When she’s not practicing or performing, you can often find her sketching and painting, reading, studying, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
