Grace Zhang

Grace Zhang began her piano studies at the age of seven. From the very start, she demonstrated absolute pitch, a profound love for music, and exceptional sight-reading abilities.

Over the past year, Grace has been an active participant in numerous events hosted by the NYMTA, MSMTA, and WMTA.

Her competitive achievements include:
• First Prize (Duet Category): Romantic Music Global Competition (AFAF), leading to a performance at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in June 2025.
• First Prize (2025) & Third Prize (2024): Charleston International Music Competition.
• Second Prize (Solo Category): Romantic Music Global Competition (December 2025).

Due to her recent success, Grace is scheduled to perform at the Winners’ Concert at Carnegie Hall on June 6, 2026.

In addition to her performance accolades, Grace has successfully passed four levels of the MSMTA Music Theory exams with high honors. Outside of the practice room, she enjoys a variety of interests, including fine arts, swimming, chorus, and studying the Chinese language.
