Gulara Alakbarova, 43, was born and raised in Baku, Azerbaijan. From a young age, she fell in love with music and asked her parents to start piano classes at the age of 8. She was always devoted to music, and after moving to the USA, she continued performing as a pianist at community concerts in Houston, Texas.
Gulara was always in love with opera, and this passion led her to try herself as an opera singer in 2023. While working full-time as a Software Engineer in the FinTech industry, Gulara started vocal training with a classical voice coach and developed a mezzo-soprano voice.
Gulara holds MBA in Finance and Master’s degree in Literary Arts.
