Hailey Son is in 6th grade at Diablo Vista Middle School and has been studying the flute since 4th grade under Tina Kim. Hailey is a member of Berkeley Youth Orchestra as well as her school band, and she has performed in several concerts with her orchestra and band. She has won second place in the US International Open Music Competition in 2023, and she recently received a Superior rating in the CMEA Bay Section Music Festival. With her passion for music and helping others, Hailey participates in fundraising activities and the annual charity concert, organized by Tina Kim Music Group, to support children at Pal Center in Redwood City, CA.
