Hanfei is an accomplished pianist with a passion for performance and education. Born with an innate talent for music, Hanfei embarked on their journey in piano performance at the renowned Xinghai Conservatory of Music, where she earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance in June 2020.
Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Hanfei further honed her skills at the Mannes School of Music, obtaining a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance in May 2023.
Having graced stages in Italy, the UK, Spain, France, and Germany, Hanfei has enraptured audiences with her exquisite interpretations and masterful technique. Her performances transcend borders, captivating listeners with the universal language of music and earning her admiration worldwide.
Among Hanfei’s notable achievements are her debut performances at iconic venues such as the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and Steinway Hall in New York City. These landmark performances showcased Hanfei’s exceptional talent and marked significant milestones in her burgeoning career.
Throughout her academic and professional journey, Hanfei has not only excelled in solo piano performance but has also demonstrated versatility and leadership in various roles. As a piano private teacher affiliated with Steinway Educational Partner, she has imparted her knowledge and passion for music to aspiring pianists, nurturing their talents and guiding them towards excellence.
In addition to teaching, Hanfei has served as an art director and accompanist in the ABRSM exams, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for examination candidates. Her dedication to music education extends beyond the classroom, as she has provided assistance to applicants during interviews with the Macau Polytechnic University, Mannes school of music, Manhattan school of music, offering valuable insights and support to prospective students.
Hanfei has had the privilege of studying under the guidance of extraordinary musicians, including Robert McDonald, Till Fellner, Jose Ramon Mendéz, Boris Berman, and Wei-Yi Yang. Her mentorship has greatly enriched Hanfei’s musical understanding and artistic interpretation, shaping them into the pianist she is today.
