Hanna Pan

Hanna Aoqing Pan, 14 years old, Year 9 student at Diocesan School for girls in Auckland New Zealand, started learning piano from 2012 with Teacher Ms. Li in China. Hanna has been learning performance from teacher Dr. Humberto Almeida since August 2017 after she moved back to Auckland with her family. Hanna has won numbers of prizes in different piano competitions. Please find the list below. She was selected to perform at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall New York for 2021. Hanna passed ABRSM Grade 5 piano examination with distinction (mark 130/150) in 2018, passed ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory examination with distinction (mark 94/100) and passed ABRSM Grade 7 piano examination with distinction (mark 135/150) in 2019, and will be attending the forthcoming ABRSM Grade 8 piano examination. Hanna is an enthusiastic pianist. She also plays clarinet at school orchestra and dreams of composing etudes and piano concertos in the future. Hanna’s prize list: Year 2020: (1) Charleston Solo Fan Favourite Music Competition, October 2020: First place; (2) The Eleventh (2021) Hong Kong International Piano Invitation Competition: Juvenile B Class Second place; (3) 2021 Macau Asia International Piano Grand Prix: Juvenile B Class Second place.
