Hannah Chang

She is a young vocalist with a strong background in choral, solo, and instrumental music. She began formal musical evaluations at age eleven through NYSSMA, completing Level 2 in voice and also challenging NYSSMA piano, where she received a perfect score. She has performed as an alto and soprano in ensembles including the Harrington Park Public School Chorus, AACC Youth Orchestra & Chorus (soloist), and the Concert Choir, Volley Voices, and Honor Choir at Northern Valley Old Tappan High School.

She has participated in major choral festivals such as the NJSMA Region Choral Festival, NJACDA High School Choral Festival at Rutgers University, the MEBCI Bergen County Chorus Festival, and the New Jersey All-State Chorus, with performances in Atlantic City and at NJPAC.

A versatile multi-instrumentalist, she has earned State Champion titles in marching band as a flutist (2023) and mellophone player (2024), and has performed on trombone and clarinet in school ensembles.

Her awards include the Honor Prize at the Amadeus International Music Competition, Third Prize at the Charleston International Music Competition, Second Prize at the Young Soloists International Music Competition, and Second Prize at the New York Young Virtuoso Competition. She has also performed in Encore Concerts at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center (2025) and Carnegie Hall (2026).

She currently studies voice in the Precollege Division of the Manhattan School of Music.
