Hannah Messineo

Hannah Messineo, 14 years old, currently lives in Meridian Idaho. She started studying voice at the age of 11 under Thomas Truhitte in San Jose, California where she found her passion for singing. Hannah won first place at the Little Mozarts International Competition 2021. She was a second place winner for both the Opera Aria and Classical Repertoire categories in the American Protégé International Vocal Competition 2021. Hannah won grand prize at the International Rising Talents Festival 2022, and had the opportunity to perform at Victor Borge Hall in New York the following year. Soon after, she received Honorable Mention at the International Grande Music Competition 2023 and had the chance to perform at Merkin Hall in New York. Hannah was a third place winner for the Opera Aria category and a second place winner for the Classical Repertoire category in the American Protégé International Vocal Competition 2023. She will be singing at Carnegie Hall, June of 2024. Hannah won gold prize at the Saint Saint-Saëns International Music Competition 2023 in both the Musical Theatre/Opera category and Young Artist category. She also received an Excellent Musicianship Special Award from the same competition. After that, Hannah was awarded gold prize for the Young Artist category in the London Young Musician International Music Competition 2023. Then, she received third prize in the World’s Best Musicians International Competition 2023. Hannah won first prize in the International Youth Music Competitions 2023, Classical Solo. When Hannah is not singing, she enjoys drawing and traveling. Some of her favorite places that she has been to are Hawaii and New York. Hannah is fluent in English as well as Japanese and loves to visit Japan.
