
Harrison Park, a senior at Coronado High School in Henderson, Nevada, started learning the cello first, previously under the tutelage of In-Kyu Lee for almost eight years and now under the tutelage of Jee Woong Kim for less than 2 year. Over the span of his approximate ten years of studying the cello, he has competed in multiple professional events, including music festivals and competitions. Harrison has received multiple awards: placed First Winners in the 2022 Protege American Music Talent Competition, placed second in the 2022, 2021 OPUS State Music Competition , placed second in the 2021 MTAC VOCE Regional Competition, placed honorable mention in the 2022 Carol Jackson Concerto Competition, completed up to the Advanced Level of the MTAC Certificate of Merit program last year, and performed a duet with his brother Danny Park with the Palos Verdes Regional Symphony Orchestra (PVRSO) in 2019. Previously, Harrison was a member of the PVRSO from 2014 to 2021. Harrison, who is now a member of the Young Artists Orchestra (YAO) , YAO Cello Choir and the Coronado High Chamber Orchestra in Las Vegas.
