Heather Tomlinson is a multifaceted pianist who loves to explore various genres and styles. She began studying classical piano at the age of seven and currently studies with University of Miami alum Damaris Morales in Henderson, Nevada. Despite having a strong background in classical music, Heather has found a love for jazz and improvisation, achieving first place prize in the LVMTA Jazz Festival in 2023 and third place in the American Protege International Music Talent Competition . She is currently a senior at Basic Academy of International Studies where she plays piano in jazz band and sings soprano 2 for chamber choir. After high school, Heather hopes to major in Commercial Music at Brigham Young University with an emphasis in jazz piano.
