Helena Kim is a twelve-year-old pianist from Wayne, New Jersey. She is a multiple-time first prize winner of the Young Musicians Competition of the New Jersey Music Teachers Association (NJMTA), the Music Educators Association (MEANJ) Competition, International Young Artist Competition, and Vivo International Music Competition. She has been competing in since she was in the first grade. She is also a silver medal recipient of the Music Educators Association (MEANJ) Competition. As an avid violist, she participated in the Five Seasons Chamber Music Festival in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and the Kaufman Summer String Fest in 2017 and 2018, respectively. In her free time, Helena enjoys playing trumpet, reading fantasy books, playing tennis with her friends, skiing, and swimming. She is a seventh grader in the Track 1A program at Anthony Wayne Middle School.
