Helena Sprajcer

Helena Sprajcer is a piano student of Elaine Felder at the Music Institute of Chicago, where she also studies voice with Dorothy Jean Lloyd. Locally, Helena is a CAMTA, NSMTA, and NWSMTA Sonata Festival gold medalist. She was a first place winner of the American Protégé Music Talent Competition Spring 2020, and subsequently performed at Carnegie Hall in June 2022. Helena was the first place winner of the ISMTA North piano competition in 2020, a SAM piano primary division first place winner in 2021, a SAM piano junior division first place winner in 2022, and ISMTA North piano intermediate division second place winner in 2023. She was a prize winner in Mozart with a View competition in 2022 for both piano junior and piano concerto divisions. In May 2022, Helena was honored with an invitation to perform at a large gala, along prominent Chicago area musicians, to raise funds for a new school for the Serbian community in Chicago. She performed as a Young Steinway Artist at the Skokie Public Library in 2023. Her other interests include musical theatre and figure skating.
