My name is Hudson Qiu, a seventh grader in Walsh Middle school. I started playing clarinet when joined the middle school band. I was so attracted by the sounds it made when I first listened it. Last semester, I was awarded in both all region orchestra and band as a clarinetist. I have been a member of Central Texas Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and Austin Chamber Music. Besides clarinet, piano is my second favorite instrument, which I have been playing for 8 years. I have earned a few major rewards in piano, and just be an All State Monetary Award Winner of TEMC All State Festival 2023.
