Hyeri Choi

Hyeri Choi was born in Busan, South Korea. She won 1st prize in the New York Artists International Competition and Manhattan International Music Competition and 3rd Prize in National Music Scholarship Competition. She has performed in many different cities, including South Korea (Seoul and Busan), Germany (Frankfurt), Spain (Mallorca), the U.S. (Boston, New York, New Jersey, Arizona). She was invited to Ian Hobson Piano Festival in Puerto Rico and Stoke Forest Music Camp as a Guest Artist.
She received her Bachelor of Music degree from Kookmin University under EuiKyung Erica Ohm, then moved to the United States to continue her music studies. She got her Master of Music degree with scholarship and Graduate Assistant stipend from Montclair State University under Dr. David Witten and her Performance Diploma from Boston University under Gila Goldstein as well. She is currently pursuing her DMA from Arizona State University under Dr. Baruch Meir and also served as a Teaching Assistant.
