Ian Chen started playing the piano when he was 5 years old. Over the years, he has participated in several recitals. His latest passion is performing classical pieces. As a 4th grader who attends a Chinese Dual Immersion Charter School, he works hard to keep up with language learning on top of academics. However, at the end of each busy day, he always makes time to decompress with piano. Music gives him pleasure, and as of late, playing the piano is his way of expressing his love for classical music. Ian’s favorite composer is Mozart but he looks forward to learning and playing more great piano composers.
