With a keen sense of melody and rhythm, Indrayan De started by playing intuitively, and was introduced to formal piano lessons in the third grade. Since making his Carnegie Hall debut, he has won many competitions, including and not limited to Sound of Music, Charleston Music Competition, Elite Music Competition, Crescendo International, and Little Mozarts International. Getting to perform live at Carnegie Hall in New York City remains one of his most cherished and inspiring moments. Aside from performing, Indrayan has passed his ABRSM Grade 1 exam with Distinction and Grade 2 with Merit.
A straight A student at school, Indrayan is also a part of the Advanced Vocal Ensemble, where not only does he sing; he is also the pianist. Of late, he has been getting in touch with his innovative side and creating song mash-ups and compositions of his own. Indrayan is currently 12 years old and a rising 8th grader. He is passionate about soccer, and currently holds the title of State Champ for ATA taekwondo in NJ. He recently performed at the prestigious Zankel Hall on special invitation as a first place awardee with a full score. Indrayan is eager to learn and participate in more performance opportunities to cultivate and share his passion for music.
