Irena Gao started learning the piano at age 6, and now studies with Florence Ko in North Carolina. She is currently a 13-year-old 7th grader and has won multiple competitions in the past. Her most recent ones include ECU competition (2023), Bullard competition (2022), and YAA (2023).
