Iris Elezi

Iris Elezi is a brilliant pianist and her CD titled ” Rachmaninoff-Chopin- Bach- Ginastera- Liszt” was released in 2020 and it has received excellent reviews. She has been featured in Fanfare Magazines, Pianist Magazine and Meet The Artist.online. Selections from the CD have been aired in different radio shows: WQED, KUCO, WBLN, WXXI, WQLN, WFSQ, CKUA and etc.She is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory where she received the Master’s Degree (Cum Laude) and the Bachelor’s Degree (Magna Cum Laude.) She was a scholarship student and the winner of the Piano Honor’s competition. In addition, she holds a Master’s of Art in Teaching from CUNY. She was also the the recipient of the Chancellor’s Talent award from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.She is a NYSSMA judge and a member of the Carnegie Hall music educators workshop where she annually has performed at Zankel Hall, Carnegie Hall.Iris Elezi has performed solo and chamber concerts at Bezanson Hall, Tilley center , Carnegie Hall, Yamaha salon, Seully Hall, Klavierhaus, West End Presbyterian Church and many other venues. In addition, she has been an accompanist for SCMEA, All County Festival , NYSSMA, All State Auditions, and local competitions.

Ms. Elezi is an Albanian American pianist who wants to promote the power of music and music education in the world. She is grateful to her teachers : Dr. Jonathan Bass, Estela Olevsky , Nigel Coxe,Douglas Buys, Anita Tartari , Elsa Veizi but especially Dr. Diana Mittler Battipaglia for her guidance and time.
In her free time, Ms. Elezi writes poetry , creates digital music, improvises and composes songs.She is a member of National Society of Collegiate Scholars, NMEA and International Honor’s Society.
