
Isaac Samuel Montefalcon is a talented individual known for his emotional interpretations of classical and romantic pieces, particularly on the piano. One noteworthy performance was at the Four Notes International Competition in 2021, where he played pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach and Frederic Chopin, earning him 2nd place. In addition to his achievement at the Four Notes International Competition, Isaac also won 3rd place at the Singapore International Music Competition this 2024, further showcasing his outstanding talent and dedication to his art.
Isaac’s journey in music began at the young age of 5 when he was discovered to have a natural aptitude for music. He started taking exams from Trinity College London and has continued to develop his talent through studious practice. His commitment to music became evident when he was accepted for a scholarship at the Philippine High School for the Arts, one of the premier art schools in the Philippines.
Beyond his musical achievements, Isaac’s dedication to his personal growth and community reflects his values of professional competence and moral uprightness, aligning with the principles of Lasallian education.
Today, Isaac is conducting research at De La Salle Araneta University on how music can enhance plant growth and increase crop yields. His work aims to benefit both the agricultural and music industries in the Philippines, contributing to the country’s economic growth.
