Isabella Cecilia Ruano

Isabella Cecilia Ruano is a soprano going into her third year at Oklahoma City University double majoring in Music Theatre and Vocal Performance. She is a voice student of Jeffrey Picón and coaches with Jan McDaniel. She won the St. Petersburg Opera Competition as a senior in high school and has won first place in Oklahoma’s District NATS (2022, 2023) and TEXOMA NATS (2023). She was honored to portray Pamina in Die Zauberflöte at her university and was thrilled to work with Director Cynthia Stokes. She has also had the honor of singing backup in the OKC Philharmonic’s performance of “An Evening with Kelli O’Hara,” and is excited to see what her future will hold in the realm of music.
