Isabella Chang, 13 years old, is an eighth grader at Evergreen Middle School. She started playing violin at the age of five, and switched to the viola at age ten, under the guidance of Hung-Wen Chen. Isabella has earned the Honorable Mention Award Winner in Violin-Viola Concerto in 2022 and 2023 in the Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside. She also participated in the 2024 Washington Music Educators Association Junior All-State St. Helens Orchestra. She has been in the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra program since 2021. Other than playing the viola, she enjoys the arts, skiing, and playing badminton.
