I started playing piano at six years old and later began viola when I was twelve. I especially love the viola’s rich and warm tone, which makes me feel at peace. I am the principal violist of a local youth orchestra and have placed in All-Region all my years of playing. Currently, I play for the highest ensemble at my high school. In addition to performing solo repertoire, I enjoy playing with my friends in duets and quintets.
I am also passionate about spreading music in the community; I perform with other musicians at local holiday and pre-concert events as a part of a non-profit organization.
