Ivan Yang

I began playing the piano between the age of 5 to 6 where I studied with private teachers on the weekends. In 2018, I enrolled into the Manhattan School of Music Pre-College Division (MSM). I continue to study there every Saturday, and in addition to piano performance, I study Music Theory, Music History, Ear Training, Piano improvisation, and Film Scoring. I have also participated in multiple chamber ensembles at MSM with a violinist under pianist Robin Freund-Epstein, a trio with voice under violinist Gemma Hinson, and a piano trio under Cellist Elad Kabilio.
