I have been playing jazz for three years. I currently participate in my high school’s jazz ensemble. In March 2024 I performed in my 2nd All-County Jazz Festival. Over the last few summers I have attended Litchfield Jazz, Interlochen Center for the Arts Piano Intensive, Manhattan School of Music Jazz, Berklee College of Music Jazz, and River Arts Jazz Combo. My favorite jazz pianists are Kenny Barron and Bill Evans I plan to continue my love of jazz performance as part of my college experience.
