Jacob Sekula is a sixth-grade student at Charlotte Wood Middle School in Danville. He started piano practice at the age of eight, gradually improving his skills by tackling increasingly complex pieces. Having found the love for music he now also plays clarinet. In his spare time Jacob attends the cross-country running club and swim team. He is a founding member of chess clubs in both his elementary and middle schools. He is learning piano under the guidance of Mrs Yingwen Lewis, working hard on refining his performance and artistry while striving to elevate his musical expression.
