Jaehee Jeoung

Violinist Jaehee Jeoung is now in Doctoral of Music degree of Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with graduate tuition scholarship. She graduated Master degree in the same University with not only Artistic Excellence Award Scholarship but also Graduate Tuition Award Scholarship and bachelor from Yonsei University with full scholarship based on her great grade. During the Bachelor, she was selected for concerto soloist of Yonsei Philharmonic through audition which held with all music department students. Also she was named on the dean’s list. She had not only been given the role of the concertmaster at the university, but also performed at Seoul Arts Center.
She started playing the violin when she was five years old. She graduated from Yewon school(middle school) and Seoul Arts High School, which are the most prestigious arts schools in Korea. She recently done winner concert at Carnegie hall. She received Grand prize of Cambridge International Music Competition, 1st prize in N.Y Manhattan International Competition, 1st prize New York International Music Concour (Edward Braustein New York State Assembly Award), and she is a winner of New York Virtuoso International Competition. In South Korea she got a 1st prize of Sungjung Competition, Music Education News Concours, Buam music competition, Sejong Art and Culture Associate Competition and Yeajin Artist Music Competition. She was invited from Korenan Symphony Orchestra as soloist. She has collaborated with many major orchestras and instructors, including violinist Florin Iliescu in MPYC music festival. In addition to these accomplishments, she has also performed in major concert halls in Seoul and U.S, including Seoul Arts Center and Carnegie Hall in New York.
