Jaiden Hsu

Jaiden Hsu (he/they/she) is a fifteen-year-old singer and actor from the Chicago area. They are a long-time student of Barbara Ann Martin at the Music Institute of Chicago (MIC) and have been a Merit Scholar and Student Ambassador at the Institute since 2017. Jaiden also plays guitar and piano, studying under Louise Chen at MIC. Jaiden has won several voice competitions, including the Charleston International Classical Music Competition in 2020 and the Walgreens National Concerto Competition in 2019, after which they were invited to perform two operatic pieces at Ravinia’s Bennett Gordon Hall. In 2022, they were the United States winner and selected to represent the USA at an international singing competition and the accompanying performance tour in Germany. Jaiden recently played the role of Velma Kelly in Chicago, Teen Edition at Northshore Country Day High School, where they are in the 10th grade.

Jaiden is also a film actor and has starred in numerous productions, two of which were recent selections in the Chinese American Film Festival and the Chicago International Film Festival. Jaiden is proud to be represented by DDO Artists Agency Chicago.
