Janak Vittal Bhuta

Janak Bhuta is a 15-year-old cellist, from Foster City, California. He started showing his passion for music when he was four. Janak loves to play all types of music, especially Baroque, and compose his own music. Some of his favorite composers are Bach, Vivaldi, and Saint-Saëns. He placed second in the San Francisco International Music Innovative Competition, third in the American Protege International Strings and Piano Competition. He played at many festivals as the principal cellist for BAYCO, as well as being in the top level of PYO. He currently studies under Janet Witharm.
