Jessica Yao is a junior attending Richard Montgomery High School in Maryland. As a student of Dr. Carolyn Oh, she has enjoyed participating and performing in the Junior All-County Band, Junior All-State Band, West County Band, and Senior All-County Band. Currently, she is a member of the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras (MCYO) and likes to take on multiple different projects with local orchestras. In school, she is principal flute of the drama program’s pit orchestra. Outside of music, she likes to play with her cat and dog.
