As a Flutist, Jiyoung Lee is in the doctoral program and working as a teaching assistant at Arizona State University.
She has appeared at festivals such as the 13th Flute Convention in Tokyo World Flute Congress Geumpa Flute Ensemble concert in Japan 2007. As an orchestral musician, Jiyoung Lee has served as a second flutist, such as the Korea Philharmonic Orchestra and the Korea Catholic Symphony Orchestra.
Internationally, she has performed solo at the Euro festival in Wien, Austria. As a teacher, Jiyoung Lee has led masterclasses at Jungang women’s high school in Korea. She has experience teaching woodwind methods courses at Arizona state university and Kyungwha middle school in Korea.
She is a member of the Geumpa Flute Ensemble and F’Seoul ensemble.
Jiyoung Lee holds degrees from Korea (M.A., Music Performance), and (B.A., Music Performance), Duquesne University ( Artist Diploma), and Temple University ( Professional Certificate of music performance.) She has performed in masterclasses Jeanne Baxtresser, James Walker, Alberto Almarza, Damian Bursill-Hall (USA), Jean-Michelle Tanguy. (Austria).
Jiyoung Lee has studied with Jennifer Steele, David Cramer, Youngjoo Kim, Chulho Lee, Hyeran Park, Elizabeth Buck.
