Jody Chen is a 13-year-old boy resides in New Jersey. As a toddler, he showed an ingenuous sensitivity toward rhythm and tempo and then began his formal music learning journey at the age of six. With his musicality, he has since participated in and won numerous competitions, including 1st place of Little Mozarts International Competition, 1st place of Prima Volta Music Competition, 1st place of VIVO International Music Competition, 1st place of Red Maple Music Competition, 2nd place of piano duet in Camerata Artists International Competition, 2nd place of American Protégé Music Competition, and he was a finalist of New Jersey Steinway Piano Competition.
Aside from music, Jody also has a keen interest in other areas. He is a talented chess player, often competing in local, state and even national-level tournaments. Similarly, having a natural aptitude for math, finding the solutions to complex problems gives Jody the most satisfaction. He is also an accomplished athlete, playing soccer and basketball for his local team, where he is known for his coordination, agility and quick thinking on the field.
