Jon Yang is an eighth grader from Tucson, Arizona. He has been playing piano since the age of six and currently studies with Dr. Svetlana Arakelova. Jon also plays the cello, and has given performances at school, nursing homes, churches, and community centers. In 2023, at the TMTA (Tucson Music Teachers Association) Merit Scholarship Audition, Jon received an honorable mention for his piano solo performance.
