Joseph Zhou, age 15, is a sophomore at Carnegie Vanguard High School and has played the piano since the age of 5. He made his debut at Carnegie Hall in 2018 and passed the ABRSM grade 8 exam with distinction in 2022. He is also a 2-time 1st place winner in the VIVO International Music Competition and a 1st place winner in the Crescendo International Music Competition. Additionally, in middle school he joined the orchestra and played cello for 3 years. He frequently volunteers at senior living homes, playing the piano for the elderly to enjoy.
