Joseph J. Yoon, 10, is a fifth-grade student at Poplar Tree Elementary school in Fairfax County, Virginia. He has been studying piano since the age of six and is currently studying under Ms. Dominique Shim. Recently, Joseph has been awarded several piano competitions in year 2020, 1st place winner in group A on International Grande Music Competition (May 6th, 2020), 3rd prize winner in the category of Young Talents group on V Paderewski International Piano Competition (May 15th, 2020) as well as 1st place winner on 2nd movement on MSMGA Gertrude Brown Memorial Piano Concerto Competition (January 15th, 2020).
