I started playing the violin when I was about 8. I took lessons but I started playing more seriously when I joined the school orchestra in 5th grade. Before then I was uncertain if I really wanted to play the violin but when I joined and started playing as a group it became a lot more fun. Playing pieces by myself became more fun as well. I am in the first violin group as well in my school orchestra.
